Boneless Pork  Loin Roast (Pork Sirloin)

Just a delightful roasting joint, very tender and easy to carve, this also has the rind on for crisp crackling.

Cooks tip,

Always ensure that the rind is very dry before cooking (use kitchen towels to dry off) pre heat oven to 230 degrees and cook for the first fifteen minutes at this temperature then reduce to 180 degrees to finish off. when cooked remove rind and set aside wrap pork in foil and rest for 20-30 mins before carving.

    My mum has a local butcher in the midlands (Rugby) that constantly provides superb meat and service. I’ve not found anything local to match it for years, until I found this butcher.
    Ordered online, delivered the next day, well impressed.
    The pork joint was the best I’ve had for yonks. Full of flavour, meat was moist and real crunchy crackling. Very hard to stop eating the cracking before serving the joint. Cold pork the next day was full of flavour and still moist – forget those pre-packed slices at the supermarkets.

    After reading the above review , thought I’d give this a try. So glad I did, it beats the plastic supermarket meats. The meat is tasty and just melts in your mouth, the crackling crunchy. I just salted the rind before I put it in the oven (next time I might add slivers of garlic). I served it with chunky salad and an assortment of dips. A delicious summer tea.
